The format chosen by the Basque Cybersecurity Center for this Technical Colloquium is 10 open sessions led by security experts that will work through technical subjects in highly interactive small groups of participants. Participation in these workshops, directed by members of FIRST and people with a technical background, is limited to 100 participants.

The workshop is based on a case study in order to acquire detailed knowledge on the state of cybersecurity in an industrial facility by identifying weak points and understanding the cyber risks that the facility is facing; and a proposal of actions to improve cybersecurity. The workshop is structured to apply a cybersecurity diagnosis to an industrial environment.

IoT concepts, such as the edge/fog computing paradigm for the collection, analysis and management of real-time data, as well as the main keys for the design and use of Big Data architecture and other technological foundations that help its implementation, such as DevOps and Cloud. These technologies will be presented in the context of different industrial applications (production, tracking, predictive maintenance, energy management…).
